It’s that time of year again …. on the weekend of SAT SEP 24 [10am-5pm] and SUN SEP 25 [12pm-5pm] my studio @ 11 THORNE STREET will be open for my ANNUAL ART SHOW AND SALE as part of the Cambridge Studio Tour & Sale.
A wonderful opportunity for you to see some of my newer works; hope to see many of you there!
I was in Stratford at the opening of my show at the Village Studios on Saturday.
It (the weather!) was as hot as hell, but the show is really cool. It runs until August 6. If you get a chance [or make one] visit Martha and Nell and take a look.
Village Studios is right beside the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory . . . to locate it, just look for the facade which I sketched below.
We just returned from a weekend in Charlottetown where we visited Brian and Margaret Lorimer who have one of the east coast’s finest art galleries [www.lorimergallery.com].
Brian Lorimer is an outstanding painter in his own right and the gallery represents an impressive cadre of artists [humbly, I’m included].
Charlottetown itself is a gorgeously beautiful and sophisticated city; a “must see” to add to your bucket list. The Lorimer Gallery, which is right across from Confederation Hall on Great George Street, is absolutely worth the visit.
To identify it, attached is a simple sketch of it which I did on Saturday.
