I’ve just returned from two wonderful weeks in the Maritimes.
The first, painting with a group of 17 others, in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.
The second, with Nancy, in Malpeque, PEI.
The two weeks, again, proves to me what a wonderful country Canada is; just a half time zone separating these two provinces is a world of difference! Trinity Bay’s beauty consists of rugged magnificence; Malpeque’s beauty consists of serene and quiet grandeur.
Below are five of my images from that trip.
Just to give you advance notice that you will be able to see more of my work at:
- my studio [11 Thorne Street] on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday September 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the 2012 Cambridge Studio Tour; and
- at the Etobicoke Civic Centre Six Degrees of Freedom group show from September 30 to October 27 (opening reception on Sunday, October 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
If you can, I’d like to see you!
